The train is scheduled in such a way that
it travels through the night so that guests get to relax in 5-star comfort and
arrive fresh the next morning at the next halt, to explore the destination during
the day. Breakfast and dinner will be served on board while lunch will be provided
at the destination. Only on the final day will lunch be served on the train
adn dinner at the Taj Residency Nasik.
Deccan Odyssey Train
Schedule
The Deccan Odyssey is much more than a mere
luxury train cruise.
Cancellation
(i) Cancellation must be advised by Fax/E-mail/Letter to the Central
Reservation Devision athead Office, Mumbai.
(ii) Rs. 300/- if the request is received before 60 days.
(iii) 20% of Ticket Value if cancellation is received within the period
of 24-44 days from schedule date of departure.
(iv) 50% of ticket value if cancellation request is received within the
period of 8-23 days from schedule date of departure.
(v) 100% of ticket value if cancellation request is received within the
period of 7 days or before the schedule date of departure.
Exclusive Charters
Companies can organize a "Business-Cum-Pleasure" trip by chartering
the truly luxurious. The Deccan Odyssey for their conference.
Climate
Varies from 80 C 300 C between September to March and in April it is around
350 C. Clothing Recommended Light tropical/light woolens.
