Terms & Conditions

Compass India Inc. (Hereinafter Travel Agent), in return for full payment by you of the amount specified, shall arrange for the transportation, accommodations, and other services specified (in the Reservation form and any supplemental documents) and as included in this brochure as and to the extent you have selected them, and subject to the following terms and conditions:

PROCEDURES : When you have finalized your plans, please read the conditions and terns below as your booking is subject to these Conditions and terms. A contract is formed once your signed Reservation form and deposit is received by Travel Agent and we accept and confirm the booking. Please note that travel arrangements are not confirmed until stated in writing by Travel Agent.

PAYMENT : A deposit of $200.00 per person is required in order for us to make the reservation and hold it on definite basis. If the final balance is not received on time, Travel Agent reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you. If the booking is cancelled by you in this manner, your deposit shall be treated as a cancellation charge to cover Travel Agent's costs. If you book the tour within 60 days prior to the start of the tour, the full amount must be paid when the booking is confirmed.

CHANGES BY YOU : If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you.

If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such changes(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements.

CANCELLATION BY YOU : You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing, which must be signed by the person that signed the Reservation Form. If you cancel on or before 40 days before the first day of the tour, we will retain your deposit to cover our administravive costs. In addition, if the cancellation notification is received less than 45 days prior to the first day of the tour, additional cancellation charges shall be as follows:

Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline fees or penalties.

If your Reservation form reflects any item as being Non-Refundable, the refunds will be modified from the aforesaid Schedule to reflect the entire Non-Refundable item.

No allowance or refund can be given for meals, rooms, excursions or other parts of the tour that are not utilized by you when these are included in the price of the tour and no allowance or refund can be given due to lost, misplaced or destroyed travel tickets or vouchers.

There are no exceptions of any kind (including medical exceptions) to these policies.

CANCELLATION BY TRAVEL AGENT AND MAJOR CHANGES : Travel Agent reserves the right to cancel the tour and /or to make changes to the travel arrangements. Such cancellations and /or changes are sometimes necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. If your tour is cancelled, we will notify you in writing at the earliest possible date and will refund all amounts you have paid to us.

OUR LIABILITY IN SUCH A CASE IS LIMITED TO A RETURN TO YOU OF ANY AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO US. If we make major changes prior to your departure, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund. If a major change is made, we will notify you at the earliest possible date and you may cancel the tour in writing up to the date of the commencement of the tour. If you do not notify us in writing of a cancellation, then you shall have accepted the changes.

ALTERATIONS TO THE TOUR : Occasionally non major changes may be made to your travel arrangement which we reserve the right to do at any time and we will advice you at the earliest possible date. These changes may be the result to force major or similar reasons beyond our control, delays in departures, weather conditions, overbooking or closure of a hotel, strikes, riots, decisions by State Governments or Tourist Organizations, altering the itinerary, the duration of time spent at a location of even omitting a destination or part of the itinerary due to the local situation. In such cases we will offer comparable alternative arrangements, if possible, but if not, will make an appropriate refund to you commensurate with the nature of the change.

PRICE : Once your booking is accepted by us, we will not make any changes to your price after you have paid the final balance. Prior to the time you pay the final balance, we may revise the price of the tour solely due to increased transportation costs, including costs of fuel. No such revisions shall amount to more than 10% of the tour price. If you do not wish to accept the changes, you will be entitled to cancel the tour with a full refund of all amounts you have paid to us.

OUR LIABILITY IN SUCH A CASE IS LIMITED TO A RETURN TO YOU OF ANY AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO US.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Compass India Inc. and /or their agents give notice that all tickets, vouchers and the coupons issued by them and all arrangements for transportation or for conveyance /hotel accommodation made by them as AGENTS of the passenger upon the express condition that they shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect of any vehicle, or through the act or default of any person or company engaged in conveying or housing the passengers or in conncection therewith, or any of hotel proprietor or employee. The operator / or their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or incidental expenses due to delay or change in schedule, hotel overbooking or default, sickness, death, weather, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passengers. Baggage is at owner's risk throughout the tour. Compass India Inc. reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participants, to expel any tour participants from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary whenever the company deems it is necessary for comfort, safety and convenience of the participants of their Travel Agents. All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. The transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or events during the time passengers are not on board their carriers and conveyance. The passengers contract in use by the carrier concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation company and the purchaser of these Tour /and or passengers. Check in and Check out time is 12 Noon. Sequence of the itinerary is subject to change due to circumstances by beyond our control.

TRAVEL INSURANCE : We highly recommend that you obtain travel insurance from your local travel insurance provider.
